Mileage56,805Service Date9/25/2026Services Performed- Performed Mercedes-Benz “A” Service at 56,805 miles. Drained engine oil and replaced engine oil filter and drain plug sealing washer. Refilled engine with MB-approved full synthetic 5W-30 engine oil to proper level. Checked and topped off windshield washer fluid as needed and replaced the remote key battery. Performed maintenance inspection of brakes and tires. Front brake pads measured approximately 10 mm and rear brake pads approximately 8 mm. Vehicle is equipped with Pirelli Cinturato P7 MOE run-flat tires. Tire tread depth measured approximately 4–5 mm LF, 2–6 mm RF, 2–3 mm LR, and approximately 2 mm RR. Uneven tire wear noted, with the lowest tread measurements approximately 1.6 mm on the RF and RR tires. Tire pressures were checked and adjusted to approximately 36 PSI front and 41 PSI rear. Recommend tire replacement due to low and uneven tread wear. Recommend wheel alignment inspection/correction as needed to help prevent continued uneven tire wear.

2005 Jaguar XJ8
Mileage166,301Service Date8/25/2026Services Performed- Inspected vehicle for transmission fluid leak. During inspection, found transmission fluid leaking from the front section of the ZF 6HP26 transmission. Further inspection indicates the leak is coming from the front oil pump/stator housing seal, Jaguar P/N C2C9646. Replacement of this seal requires removal of the transmission, torque converter, transmission pan, mechatronic assembly, and front oil pump/stator assembly. Due to the amount of disassembly required, I also recommend replacing the torque converter/front pump lip seal, mechatronic bridge seal, mechatronic sealing tubes, electrical connector sealing sleeve, transmission pan/filter, and applicable pump sealing washers/seals while the transmission is apart. Transmission fluid will also need to be replaced and the fluid level properly adjusted following repairs. No repairs were performed at this time. Guest has been advised of the findings and recommendations and has elected to take the vehicle at this time and return at a later date to have the repairs performed.

2014 Volkswagen Passat
Mileage168,064Service Date8/24/2026Services Performed- Guest states check engine light is illuminated and vehicle is running rough. Vehicle was towed to the shop. Performed initial inspection and scanned vehicle control systems for diagnostic trouble codes. Found multiple/random cylinder misfire faults including P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303 and P0304, indicating misfires have been detected on all four cylinders. Also found P0011 – Camshaft Position/Timing Over-Advanced fault stored. Due to the multiple-cylinder misfires and rough-running condition, recommended and performed an engine compression test followed by a cylinder leak-down test to evaluate the mechanical condition of the engine. Compression test results: Cylinder #1 – 140 PSI Cylinder #2 – 145 PSI Cylinder #3 – 130 PSI Cylinder #4 – 80 PSI Cylinder #4 compression is substantially lower than the remaining cylinders, indicating an internal mechanical sealing problem. Performed cylinder leak-down testing. Test results were approximately: Cylinder #1 – 82% leakage Cylinder #2 – 5% leakage Cylinder #3 – 45% leakage Cylinder #4 – 85% leakage Leak-down testing showed excessive leakage on three of the four cylinders, with only cylinder #2 testing within acceptable limits. Audible leakage was also observed during testing, including leakage through the intake valve area. Performed additional internal inspection of the cylinders and combustion chambers using a borescope. Inspection revealed heavy carbon accumulation on the intake valves. Cylinder #1 cylinder wall/bore shows visible scoring, and the top of cylinder #3 piston shows an area that appears damaged/abnormal. These findings, together with the low compression and excessive cylinder leakage, indicate significant internal engine mechanical wear/damage. At this time, further disassembly would be required to determine the exact extent of internal damage and whether the cylinder head, valves, pistons, rings and/or cylinder walls are individually repairable. Due to the multiple cylinders affected, cylinder wall scoring, apparent piston damage, excessive leakage and low compression, repairing individual engine components is not recommended as the most practical repair. Recommend replacement of the engine with a complete long block or a good-quality used engine assembly. If a used engine is selected, recommend verifying engine condition, mileage and supplier warranty prior to installation. Current mileage: 168,064 miles.

2015 Audi Q5

Installed new engine oil filter and torqued drain plug to specification. Filled engine with **6.8 liters of engine oil meeting VW 502 00 specification** and verified proper oil level. Inspected vehicle for fluid leaks. Topped off engine coolant and windshield washer fluid as needed. Checked front brake pad thickness at **8 mm** and rear brake pad thickness at **8 mm**. Adjusted tire pressures to manufacturer specification. Reset engine oil service and maintenance reminders. Road tested vehicle after service and verified normal operation.
- Checked for warning lights in the instrument cluster. Found no warning lights in the instrument cluster. As a courtesy to guest, connected Zeus diagnostic tool & performed quick test. Found no fault codes related to guest concern. No condition found at this time.
- During multi point inspection, found Cabin air filter dirty. Replaced Cabin air filter with new filter. A/C system operating as designed after replacement of the cabin air filter.

- Performed vehicle inspection. Found engine coolant reservoir empty. Added water to coolant reservoir. Performed coolant pressure test. Found coolant leaking under the wiper blade motor assembly at the pass through pipe for the heater core. Disconnected wiper arms. Removed windshield cowling. Removed wiper motor assembly. Replaced pass through pipe for the heater core at firewall. Re-installed removed items in reverse order. Added Mercedes-Benz approved coolant mixture to the coolant reservoir & bled coolant circuit. Checked for fluid leaks after repair. No fluid leaks found after repair.
- During multi-point inspection, found vibration at idle in gear. Upon further inspection, found engine mounts collapsed & causing vibration at idle. Disconnected vehicle battery ground. Compared actual values of a/c system pressure sensor to a/c recovery, recycle & recharge machine. Recovered the Freon from the vehicle. Recovered 105 grams of Freon. Specification is 650 grams of R-134a Freon. Performed vacuum leak test & vehicle passed. Added correct amount of R-134a Freon (650 grams). Checked operation of a/c system. Found low side was 35 PSI & high side was 180 PSI. Found A/C operating as designed after repair. Checked for signs of Freon leaks. Found no leaks present at this time. Center vent temperature was 51~ Fahrenheit. No fault codes found after repair.
- Checked operation of the trunk. Found trunk not operating with button on the instrument panel, on the trunk lid or on the remote key. While performing A/C repair, checked to see if valet mode was activated & if button operation was showing when pressed. Found buttons operating & control unit seeing values for buttons. Checked trunk latch & found trunk latch making noise when button depressed, but latch not opening. Recommended replacement of trunk latch. Guest declined repair at this time.
